Ukcareers now have 4 job sites live and are aiming to stabilise these 4 before rolling the remaining 29 jobs boards.

The most recent launch for graduate jobs uses a new platform hoped to be the future platform for all new Ukcareers sites.  The sites planned cover almost all sectors you could imagine from legal, to tourism, aviation to sport and beyond!  The belief at Ukcareers being that sector specific job boards are likely to perform far better in helping recruitment agencies in generating placements than the general jobs boards, which can generate large numbers of non specific applications.

It is anticipated that the two most recent sites will progress in earnest beyond the summer period, after which further sites will be launched.

It’s the festive season again. People are finisging their shopping, having relatives over, over eating and drinking. Surely, now is not the time to be looking at jobs in recruitment?

Well think again.  If you are a recruitment manager, vacanct recruitment jobs in January will likely mean a slow start, rather than a flying start to 2007.  They certainly won’t want to be short of a full team.

So if you are considering changing your recruitment job, you may actually find recruitment managers are keener than ever to fill their jobs in recruitment, and indeed have you kicking by January 2!!

So maybe just hold off your shopping for a few more days, this could be your opportunity to land your next recuritment job!

Good luck and Merry Christmas

To add to the existing 3 sites UKcareers has now launched a specialist site offering jobs for graduates.

This new site represents another milestone for the Ukcareers team as it is the first using the new platform, which it is hoped, will be the platform to roll out the remianing 30 sector specialised websites.

This site is particularly exciting as graduate jobs is thought to be one of the largest sectors available as it covers nearly all sectors in one.  Ukcareers now have 4 sites live as follows

Medical sales and pharmaceutical jobs

Jobs in recruitment for people in recruitment jobs

Sales jobs for people with jobs in sales

and now

Graduate jobs

The SEO work will start before this week is out.  The team will be looking for front page positions within 4 months.

Jobs in Pharmacy

After around a month of intensive effort to increase the search engine listing for ukcareers jobs boards for top phrases, early results are excellent for medical sales, pharmaceutical jobs, jobs in recruitment and recruitment jobs.

After an excellent first year gaining search engine prominence through pay per click advertising, ukcareers have embarked upon and intensive campaign to gain organic listings.

So far, results are impressive with the first number one listing now for medical sales on msn, with pharmaceutical jobs listing at 2.  Recruitment jobs and jobs in recruitment both have gained a front page lisitng on yahoo.  Attention has now turned to the real prize of front page listings on google, which has by far the largest implications for traffic and applications to clients.

This week has seen the first significant movement on google with both medical sales and pharmaceutical jobs listing on second page.  Slower progress is likely explained for recruitmentcareers due to a newer domain and lower page rank.

The target now will be to gain at least one front page lsiting on google before the turn of the year for pharmacareers on google….fingers crossed.

for Medical sales and pharmaceutical jobs in 2007?

2006 has been a turbulent year for people in medical sales and indeed all in other pharmaceutical jobs. Will the turn of the year offer a new stability within the pharmaceutical industry?

For many, 2006 has been the worst year on record with regard to stability, or a lack of it, within the pharmaceutical industry.  Gone are the days where an individual could achieve a position in medical sales and realistically expect to draw their pension from that same company when it becomes time to take up golf.  Now, if it’s three years before you’re looking for your next pharmaceutical job you’re an old timer!! and the reasons could be many, up and coming merges, acquisitions, failed new licenses, NICE decisions can all mean a need to look around.

The good news is, there are reasons for the years changes, and these can’t last for ever.  Many believe the rate of change must now slow down as the industry, and the companies which make it up, take their new shape and settle once again.

From the perspective of pharmaceutical recruitment agencies, there are still pharmaceutical vacancies around probably less of them than 1 year ago, but certainly greater caution on the part of those in pharmaceutical jobs when it comes to considering a job move.  From this perspective, it is likey the pharmaceutical recruitment industry will have to reshape as well, time will tell.
