Now the latest Ukcareers jobs boards are up and running, attention turns to what next?
The planned Ukcareers portfolio stretches to around 33 niche specific sites. The strategy thus far has been to launch related, if not overlapping sites which may encourage existing customers to trial and sign up fo the new sites.
Hence recruiters looking for peopl for Medical sales through pharmacareers are highly likely to also look on uksales and maybe even ukgraduates.
However, the model is now a little more tried and tested and the temptationis there to go after the largest, but most competitive sectors, examples of which are IT, Legal, financial, avaiation and tourism. Converseley, a launch to a more niche specialist aread could succeed more quickly but with a smaller prize at the other end, examples here would be journalism, marketing and catering.
The present likelihood is to select one from each category and launch two more at the next juncture. It’s expected that the latest two sites will become financial viable within 4-6 months, watch this space then for more from Ukcareers.

Pharmacareers continues to search engine ranking progress, now showing at number 2 on google for pharmaceutical sales.
It’s now 5 months since the SEO campaign began for pharmacareers. Results on msn and yahoo were dramatic and relatively quick, achieving number one positions for such as Medical sales and pharmaceutical jobs in only 2 months. Google has proved more of a super tanker with slow but steady progress over 8 months now.
Most of the key phrases in the campaign are no either at the top of page 2 or the bottom half of page one. These results are pleasing, however, it is thought that the dramatic impact on traffic sought will only really occur with top 3 positions. The phrase pharmaceutical sales now leads the way here, appearing at 2 on google. If the current trend continues, top 3 positions are realistic for the other phrases over the next 2 months.

Careersinpharmacy has made it to no.1 on yahoo for the phrase jobs in pharmacy.
The success has occurred unexpectedly after a limited SEO campaign 2 months ago, confirming that this particular sector is not dominated by ’search engine savy’ web sites. It remains to be seen how high the site will climb on google although historically yahoo has been a good early indicator of what is likely to occur on google once it ‘catches up’.
Jobs in pharmacy, which wasn’t listing on google at all before the campaign is no showing on page 4, further gains may appear here over the next month.
